Sai Ashram Animal Shelter is run by a team of volunteers and Mr Vishwant Kumars Family,
who in their father's memory provide us much needed aid and help
Our team of Volunteers includes -
Head Volunteer Mr Rajiv Vij
Rajeev is our hands on volunteer at Sai ashram Animal shelter.
You will find him here everyday administering first aid, drips, injections etc to the dogs, pigs and our donkey. He is also involved in rescuing any abandoned, injured, in need dogs all around Delhi.
We don’t know what we would do with out him.
Mrs Veena Gaba
Aunty Veena was a godsend to us at Sai Ashram animal shelter as she is mother Hen not only to all the dogs and other animals we have here but is a motherly figure for all the volunteers and staff that works here.Her invaluable advice and experience of life is much appreciated by all of us and we are very grateful to have her with us here at Sai Ashram.
Ms Mudita Chandra
Mudita has been associated with the shelter since the year 2007.After the untimely demise of Mr Kumar she has been helping to collect donations and funding to help the animals at the shelter.She conducts workshops to create awareness about stray dogs and is also trying to educate and sensitize people more about our role in the environment and nature. She has been taking on weekend programs at offices, organizations and MNC's as part of the CSR initiative to collect donations for Sai Ashram and to spread the message of mass sterization around Delhi and the role that individuals and organizations can hold in this endeavour.
Ms Sadhwi Sondhi
(Red Paws Rescue)
Sadhwi ‘s work says it all.
She started Red Paws Rescue(RPR) an NGO, as a means to help other shelters in need and to help dogs/ pups around Delhi to be looked after, rehabilitated and cared for.Most of the proceeds from her work come to the animals at Sai Ashram and we are forever indebted to her for having such a kind heart and helping all of these animals!
